Holistic Orthopedic and Regenerative Medicine in Bellingham, WA

When pain persists and the next step is not obvious

Many patients with musculoskeletal pain end up in a difficult middle ground — physical therapy helped but did not fully resolve the problem, and surgery feels premature or unnecessary.

This practice is built for that space.

Care begins with a thorough evaluation, often including musculoskeletal ultrasound, to better understand what is driving the pain. From there, treatment is based on the findings, your function, and your goals.

Many patients come in looking for a clearer answer — not simply another round of treatment.

What to Expect

Many patients come in looking for a clearer answer – not simply another round of treatment.

Step 1 - Evaluation

Your first visit is a careful assessment. Dr. Borys reviews your history, examines the area of concern, and often uses diagnostic ultrasound to evaluate the tissue directly. The goal is to understand the problem before recommending treatment.

Step 2 - A clear recommendation

You will receive a straightforward explanation of what is going on and which treatment options, if any, make sense for your situation. Some patients are good candidates for regenerative treatment. Others are better served by a different approach. If a treatment is unlikely to help, that will be addressed directly.

Step 3 - Treatment and follow-up

If treatment is indicated, Dr. Borys performs the procedure and provides follow-up to monitor progress and adjust the plan as needed.

What Patients Say

Dr Borys is avidly helping me get to the bottom of pain I've had for 20 years, whereas no other Dr I've seen has done. He's kind, and genuine and listens.

I’ve been seeing Dr Borys for over a year. I had PRP treatments on the east cost while I was away from Bellingham and his skill is far beyond what I had over there. My low back is healing and I’ve gone from chronic pain to nearly no pain. I feel like I’ve gotten my life back. Thank you Dr Borys for becoming good at this. I am very grateful!

I'm a retired Alaska Commercial Fisherman who suffered pain and loss of some function in my thumb/hand, it limited activities. I sought out Dr Chad Borys for PPR (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment. It's 4 months since PPR treatment and I'm HAPPY to report less pain, more function - I just returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands where I KAYAKED several days! I would Not have been able to do that prior to treatments. Dr Borys is knowledgeable, thorough, professional and kind... Taking care to discuss treatments and outcomes, to explain each step, and available to answer questions. Thanks Dr!!! 'Kayaking Iguana Jan'

Dr. Borys is the best. He treats your whole body and reduces pain everywhere. He is very dedicated to improving your health. His skills are many and varied. His ultra sound is very helpful for diagnosing. Many things that I previously had to have done at the hospital like draining bakers cysts he can do right in the office. And best of all, he is wonderful person.

What is Frozen Shoulder? Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a painful condition characterized by stiffness and restricted movement in the shoulder joint. How PRP Therapy Works PRP therapy involves injecting a concentration of a patient’s own platelets into the shoulder joint. These platelets contain growth factors that help reduce inflammation and promote
