Why Patients Choose Us

Careful diagnosis comes first

Whole-Person Orthopedics

We look at what is actually driving your pain, not just the symptom in front of us. Treatment plans are built around your situation, not a template.

Ultrasound Diagnostics

Diagnostic ultrasound is done in-office so Dr. Borys can see the tissue directly and guide each injection to the right spot.

Regenerative Injections

PRP, prolotherapy, and regenerative injection options delivered with image-guided precision for chronic tendon, joint, and nerve pain.

About Dr. Borys

Dedicated to finding real solutions for persistent pain

Dr. Chad Borys is a Naturopathic Physician in Bellingham, WA with a clinical focus on musculoskeletal pain and regenerative medicine. He provides careful evaluation and non-surgical treatment for people dealing with chronic orthopedic pain — including shoulder, knee, hip, and back problems that limit training, work, or daily life.

Over the past eight years, Dr. Borys has completed more than 300 hours of advanced continuing education and supervised hands-on training in regenerative injection techniques, including prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma, and ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures. His training has included mentorship with physicians experienced in non-surgical orthopedic medicine, as well as service-based clinical work treating patients alongside orthopedic specialists in Honduras.

His approach combines evidence-informed medicine with a naturopathic emphasis on understanding what is driving a patient's symptoms. Not just managing them. Care begins with a thorough clinical assessment, often supported by in-office diagnostic ultrasound, which allows for more precise evaluation and image-guided treatment when appropriate.

Not every patient is a candidate for regenerative treatment. When that is the case, Dr. Borys will tell you directly and help you find the right path forward.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Borys is a former collegiate soccer player and lifelong mountain biker, climber, and skier. He treats active people and lives that way himself, alongside his wife and daughter.

Your Progress, Measured

Know whether your treatment is actually working

Healing should never be a guessing game. Dr. Borys uses DataBiologics to track your pain, mobility, and function before and after each regenerative procedure — so you can see measurable data on your progress at every step.

  • Honest expectations. Outcome data from real patients helps set a realistic picture of what your treatment can achieve — before you commit.
  • Care that adapts to you. If your numbers aren't moving the way they should, your plan changes — no one-size-fits-all protocols.
  • Clear conversations. You and Dr. Borys make decisions together, grounded in your own results rather than guesswork.

Treatment options selected to fit the problem

Every patient receives a thorough evaluation before any treatment is recommended. Dr. Borys uses diagnostic ultrasound and careful clinical assessment to determine which approach, if any, will be most effective for your specific condition.

What to Expect

Many patients come in looking for a clearer answer

Not simply another round of treatment. Here is what a first visit and beyond looks like.

Thorough Evaluation

Your first visit is a careful assessment. Dr. Borys reviews your history, examines the area of concern, and often uses diagnostic ultrasound to evaluate the tissue directly. The goal is to understand the problem before recommending treatment.

Clear Recommendation

You will receive a straightforward explanation of what is going on and which treatment options, if any, make sense for your situation. Some patients are good candidates for regenerative treatment. Others are better served by a different approach. If a treatment is unlikely to help, that will be addressed directly.

Treatment & Follow-up

If treatment is indicated, Dr. Borys performs the procedure and provides follow-up to monitor progress and adjust the plan as needed. Your recovery and results matter - ongoing support is part of the process.
